A former Kingdom and a fascinating Himalayan Jewel, Sikkim is situated in Eastern Himalayas spreading below Mount Kanchenjunga (8,534m), the third highest mountain in the world. Lying between 27 to 28 degree North latitude and 88 to 89 degree East longitude, it is barely 7,096 sq. km in size yet has an elevation ranging from 224 m to 8,540 m above sea level in a distance of 110 km from North to South and 64 km from East to West. The state’s about 64 km width is squeezed between the mountainous kingdoms of Bhutan and Nepal to the east and west respectively. The high plateau of Tibet lies 40 km to the north India’s and state of Bengal to its south.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1 (Delhi - Bagdogra -
Gangtok)
Arrival at Delhi IGI airport, you will be greeted by our representative and then will be transfered to domestic airport for the flight to Bagdogra. On the clear day, in Sikkim Kanchenjunga trek one may get the glimpse of Mount Everest. After the arrival, we will be be transfered to Gangtok by road (125 kilometers in 5 hours). After all these, arrival will be late in the evening and then we check in to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 2 (At Gangtok)
In the next day morning, we will proceed for the sightseeing activity in the
Gangtok city that takes us to the Dodrul Gompa and down to the little bazaar. After having lunch, on the way we will proceed to Rumtek monastery which is the seat for the Kagyupa sect of Buddhism. After this we will return back to hotel for the overnight stay and dinner.
Day 3 (Gangtok- Yuksom)
On the next day morning, after having the breakfast we will drive to Yuksom (90 kilometers) which passes through the beautiful villages, waterfalls and rice fields. Yuksom is the place that brings the charisma of the mini lakes which are flowing through the Himalayan backdrop. After enjoying the day we will proceed for the overnight stay at Safari Camp.
Day 4 (Yuksom- Bakhim) 12 kilometers at 9000 feet
After leaving Yuksom, we will follow the track which is along the fast flowing Rathong Choo stream, the thickly wooden bridge. There is also a small temple that invites devotees from as far as Nepal across the glacier. This lake is fled by Rathong and Kokthang glaciers. The Kanchenjunga trekking Tour also passes through the flower belts. After crossing the second wooden bridge there is a peaceful and tranquil area. After getting there, overnight stay at camp.
Day 5 (Bakhim- Dzongri) 8 kilometers at 10155 feets
As we go on and on, we came closer to the Kanchenjunga and can also get the initial view of the Sikkim snows. After we reach Phittang, the route covers the exquisite green forests of Rhododendron to Deorali Dara. From here we will get the excellent view of the massive Sikkim mountain ranges. After this we can go to get the glimpse of the third highest peak in the world- Kanchenjunga.
Day 6 (Return to Delhi):
After this we will return back to Delhi IGI airport for the onwards journey.
